Electrolysis and Trans People/Gender Reassignment

One of the most satisfying elements for a person in the transition process is the removal of male markers.

The male hair pattern hair growth on face, beard and neck can be difficult to hide and cover with makeup but can be successfully and permanently removed with electrolysis.

Electrolysis is a method of removing individual hairs from the face or body. It is the only treatment of hair removal considered to be and legally allowed to be described as permanent

As a specialist in electrolysis I treat transgender people for permanent hair removal from the very start of their journey of transition right up to operative stage.

NHS funded treatment welcome for people on the NHS England Pathway

Most areas of the body can be treated with electrolysis, including the eyebrows, face, abdomen, thighs, breasts, legs and the necessary pre-operative removal of hair in the genital area

Genital Electrolysis Packages: £90 per hour or 10 hours of prepaid electrolysis £850. Treatment sessions to be minimum 1 hr for packages.

Transgender Wikipidia Definitiion:

Transgender is the state of one's gender identity or gender expression not matching one's assigned sex. Transgender is independent of sexual orientation; transgender people may identify as heterosexual, homosexual, bisexual, etc; some may consider conventional sexual orientation labels inadequate or inapplicable to them. The definition of transgender includes:

- "Of, relating to, or designating a person whose identity does not conform unambiguously to conventional notions of male or female gender roles, but combines or moves between these.

- "People who were assigned a sex, usually at birth and based on their genitals, but who feel that this is a false or incomplete description of themselves.

- "Non-identification with, or non-presentation as, the sex (and assumed gender) one was assigned at birth."
